Foot Detox

Detox foot spa is a very relaxing form of body detoxification. Another name for this type of body detoxification process is called ionic detox foot bath. This foot spa involves soaking your feet in a container filled with water and has minor current running through it.

Minor current as in electric current you ask? Wouldn't that electrocute me? Well, yes if you just plug an open cable and put it in a bowl of water with you feet in it. Of course, it's not like that but the concept is almost the same but with a lot lower current than what we normally use for our home appliances.

These detox bath do not have enough current to cause any negative effects in your body. The current is low enough and its purpose is to help with the detoxification process.

The current running through the detox foot bath will produce positively charged water inside the foot bath. This positively charged water is beneficial because when our feet come into contact with the water, negatively charged ions inside our body will be neutralized and will be discarded through our feet. These negatively charged ions are the toxins and chemicals residing within our body and it would do us good to discard of them.

The neutralized ions would exit through the pores at the bottom of your feet and cause the water to turn dark after a while. This is not because your feet are dirty as some would think and you have no reason to feel ashamed. In fact, you should be happy seeing the water turn dark brown. It's the toxins that is otherwise accumulated inside your body all this while. Now, think about this, would you rather have that inside your body or in the foot bath?

Getting rid of these toxins will benefit you in the long run. It will also leave you feeling energized. The reason being because once you helped your body to detox through the use of a detox foot bath, you leave your body's natural detoxification system free from an otherwise energy consuming process of detoxifying your body.
